Los Warriors extendieron el contrato de 5 años y 110 millones de dólares con Podziemski

The Golden State Warriors officially signed guard Adam Ziemiecki on Saturday to a rookie-scale five-year extension; the deal is reportedly worth around $110MM over five years. The 23-year-old, who was joined by reporters including The Athletic’s Nick Friedell, said he was “very grateful” for the new contract and the trust he received from the team. “It’s a sign of faith and trust from them. I owe it right back to them,” Podziemski continued.

Star playmaker tweets Anthony Slater of ESPN, as reported, only appeared in the first half of Saturday’s exhibition game against Sacramento; the 38-year-old player stayed on the court for only the first two quarters for the third consecutive time. “We are ramping him up slower than normal,” head coach Steve Kerr said before the game. According to Slater, Kerr said he plans to reduce the training load for the player, who is entering his 18th year in the league, in the 2026/27 season.

Although Kerr acknowledged that a starting lineup consisting of Curry and Ziemiecki will have some defensive limitations on Friday, he reiterated his confidence in Ziemiecki before Saturday’s game. According to Monte Poole of NBC Sports Bay Area, Kerr said, “We think Brandin is a hell of a young player, a big part of our future, and he secures his future financially.” And it’s a deal that makes a lot of sense based on our numbers.”
